Went to GoDaddy

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this site had been going down regularly for the past couple of days. According to my (now previous) webhosting company it was due to DNS issues which they said they would sort out. Then last night there was a hard disk failure. Even the homepage of the webhosting company was down. That was the last straw. I immediately signed up with GoDaddy (Linux Economy Hosting - USD 43.05 for 12 months). As soon as my site was back up again I transferred over my files and data, and pointed my domain name to GoDaddy’s name servers.

It’s interesting how DNS works. Right after I updated my DNS info, I ran nslookup rizalalmashoor.com many times in succession. About one in seven lookups would result in the new name server.

You should take a look at http://www.everydns.org, lets you manage your DNS properly and guess what there wont be big downtime if you are switching/failover to another server!

    I use it!
