They keep on trying

The English is quite interesting. The grammar is not too bad, but the style is decidedly odd. I’m not sure whether the author is consciously trying to come across as dated and old-fashioned.

“… truth and honesty to be our watch-word [sic].” The audacity!

The Excandine multi-cleanser-xhg is a new scientific chemical fluid substance manufactured in North korea , it is of lubricant, mainly used in the gemological laboratory for the purification of diamonds, clarity treatment, it penetrates deep into diamond and vaporizes out black inclusion in diamonds and other precious stones such as; Tanzanite, Citrine, Pink topaz, Aquamarine, Ruby, Sapphire, and Zircon (both blue and colourless).

The product is rare, and highly demanded by my company, though not long it came to existence, it was introduced to our company by a Chinese friend, Mrs Jessy Chau, a gemologist in the United States, who gave me a sample for text, on my last visit to the United States. After our company’s research on the product, I discovered it is in large quantity, and as well cheaper in Malaysia, and since then I have been going to Malaysia to purchase it for my company.

I wish to appoint you as our local agent in Malaysia, so that my assistant, who will soon be in Malaysia, will have to buy the products through you. This is in order to protect my former dealings.

All the while I was visiting Malaysia, I never really cared to have a friend in Malaysia; my focus was rather on my business, as that was the only thing I cared for. Now, I regret all this, as I now know there is more to life than just wanting to have or make all. Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, I cannot do the travelling myself.

I am offering you 50% of the proceeds from each of the deals whenever my assistant comes to make the purchase of the product. I will like you to do this business for me until I stand back on my feet. While 40% is for me, I will like 10% to be your local and international operational costs during each of the business transactions in Malaysia.

This transaction is completely risk free, and each will last a day or two days only. I don’t want the person they will be sending to know the cost price that I have been buying the product in Malaysia. The dealer of this product is a Malaysian lady, but I want to introduce you as the dealer to my Company, so that my representative will buy it through you.

If you promise to be faithful to me, and that you will be sending my percentage to me after each transaction with my company, I will now send you all the details you need for the business.
