Perodua Nautica/Toyota Rush

The Perodua Nautica has just been launched. Looks like the Toyota Rush, doesn’t it? In actual fact, the Nautica is the short wheelbase version of the Rush. Daihatsu (Perodua’s partner) is partly owned by Toyota, and these two manufacturers share vehicle platforms to cut cost.

The main differences between these two models – besides length – are drivetrain (4WD vs. RWD) and seating capacity (5 vs. 8).

Kalau Nautica ada 3row seat, pasti aku beli. 4WD market memang ada especially utk orang yg tinggal di pedalaman, selalu masuk hutan, kaki pancing & suka adventure. Maybe Nautica akan laris di Sabah & Sarawak sbb bentuk muka bumi yg berbukit bukau. Tapi kalau compare harga, better ambil mitsubisi triton. mahal sikit je harganya.
