Daily Reading List - Software
- The Old New Thing
Raymond Chen is one of Microsoft’s most famous software engineers. He’s a prolific blogger, averaging more than one entry per day. His posts vary between the deeply technical and the humorously observational. - Seth’s Blog
It’s not easy to pigeonhole Seth Godin, but I’d say he’s a deep and original thinker whose primary interests are marketing and technology. It’s good to see things from his perspective, i.e., implications and the bigger picture rather than technology for technology’s sake. - Scobleizer
I’ve only just started reading Robert Scoble’s blog, although apparently he’s one of the most well known bloggers on the planet. He seems to have his finger on the pulse - he knows who’s who and what’s what. Visiting his site is like scanning the headlines of today’s paper, to get a feel of what’s currently going on in the world.
Why do I categorize Seth’s Blog and Scobleizer under software? Although their writings are ostensibly on technology, I would think that software is the essence of every new technology that matters. Vorsprung durch software!
