C, 3, A4, 9-3
The new C-Class has been launched in Malaysia. Its styling is much more aggressive than that of its predecessor. On looks alone I judge it to be better than the current 3-Series.
My favourite in this segment used to be the A4 due to its understatedness. The latest A4 just looks ugly. I thought I would get used to it but I guess I never will.
I feel Mercedes and BMW to be a bit cliché. For exclusivity I would go for either the Passat or the 9-3. The Passat is actually another version of the A4, without the Audi badge. Its image is a bit boring though. I haven’t heard anything good or bad about the build quality of the 9-3 but I do like its aircraft design heritage.
