Defenestration
“Yesterday he was defenestrated.”
Ouch! Sounds painful, somehow. I came across this word in an article in The Economist.

ASP.NET ViewState Misconception
A very common misconception amongst ASP.NET page developers is that ViewState must be enabled to persist values across postbacks.
This is not true. Try this: on an .aspx page, add a textbox and a button. Your code should be similar to the one as follows:

Perodua Nautica/Toyota Rush
The Perodua Nautica has just been launched. Looks like the Toyota Rush, doesn't it? In actual fact, the Nautica is the short wheelbase version of the Rush. Daihatsu (Perodua's partner) is partly owned by Toyota, and these two manufacturers share vehicle platforms to cut cost.

I have a new favourite TV show.
It's called Pocoyo!
Pocoyo – the character – is insufferably cute. I like the plain white 3D space concept, the narrator (Stephen Fry), and the music. Quite a few episodes are very entertaining, too.
